Qué te espera

Exploring Mexico just got a whole lot easier. On this full day adventure, you'll tick off no less than four different activities. Start with a guided visit of the archaeological site of Tulum, then head to a cenote for a swim. Next, it's off to Akumal for a spot of snorkelling. Round off your day with lunch at a beach club. Carmen, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘The most photographed structure in the archaeological site is the Castillo, which is perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The Castillo might be the most famous, but there are plenty of other ancient Mayan ruins to explore, such as the Temple of the Descending God and the Temple of the Frescoes.'

The marvels of the Mayan culture will be revealed on your guided tour around Tulum. You'll learn about it's past as a walled city, and its former role as a trading hub. After the tour you'll have free time to explore at your leisure. Next, prepare to be dazzled by colours at an ancient Mayan cenote, a natural cave with a freshwater pool fed by underground water sources and considered sacred by the Mayans.

After a cooling swim, we'll head for the picturesque seaside community of Akumal, known for its laid-back atmosphere, natural beauty, and abundant marine life. With its intriguing underwater world, Akumal offers one of the best snorkelling experiences in the Riviera Maya. Encounter an array of tropical fish, corals, and perhaps even sea turtles. To complete your day, unwind and indulge in a tasty meal at a nearby beach club.

We loved it all, Adai brought it all to life with his in-depth knowledge on Mayan history! From start to finish it was a day to remember. My 1st snorkelling with Turtles & Adai looked after me as I was apprehensive.

Tulum was very busy and felt a bit rushed. Our guide, Ximena was lovely. The cenote swim was a wonderful experience but it was a pity the photos cost too much. 150 US dollars. You can't take your own photos so it was a shame we have no momento. Water visibility was poor for the snorkeling with turtles but still a nice experience. Lunch was in a beautiful beach setting.

This was a brilliant day out. The minibus was spacious and air-conditioned. Our guide, Mario, was excellent, friendly and informative. The archaeological site of Tulum was fantastic, as was the cenote swim, which was our favourite part. The snorkelling was in a beautiful location, and we saw several turtles. The lunch location was nice, although the sea was discoloured by the sargassum, but this can't be helped. The food was excellent. Overall, this was a well-organised day and great value.

Great trip well organised and well run by the Driver Ralf and Tour Guide Rudy. Would still go because of the 4 venues and mixed activities all excellent and Rudy was very good with his local knowledge. Down side but only slightl it was 1.5 hours to get to there central collection point then we had to wait for the other 6 people on our tour to come from other hotels that was another 30 minutes plus, then you set of for the first venue which was 40 minutes. But worth it.
