- Between 1st August to 30th September, Maya Bay will be closed to visitors due to ecosystem preservation. During this time, there'll be a sightseeing boat tour of the bay, from a respectful distance
- Children must be over 1 to take part while adults must be aged under 60 to take part in speedboat excursions
- The tour from Phuket operates daily
- The tour from Khaolak operates on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
- Not suitable for expectant mothers or guests with back problems
- Not suitable for wheelchairs
