Vous rejoindrez l'île par une combinaison de catamaran et de bateau rapide, avec un arrêt de plongée en apnée au départ.

Nous avons été le premier pays à protéger les lamantins par la loi, et nous avons également un programme de conservation des tortues sur Saona". L'île et la mer environnante sont d'une telle importance pour leur biodiversité qu'elles ont été déclarées parc national.

Vous partirez de Bayahibe, pour rejoindre les mers baignées de soleil qui entourent le parc national de Cotubanama. Un arrêt est prévu en chemin pour nager ou faire de la plongée libre parmi des bancs de poissons tropicaux dans une piscine naturelle peu profonde formée par des bancs de sable au milieu de la mer. Une fois arrivé sur l'île de Saona, vous aurez tout le temps de vous imprégner de ces panoramas éblouissants et de prendre des photos. Profitez-en pour faire une promenade pieds nus sur la plage privée d'un kilomètre de long et pour vous détendre avec un cocktail. The trip was great, loved the snorkeling, we saw some beautiful fish. The speedboat was great, the guide got everyone to sing happy birthday to my husband, thankyou, it made it more special as it was his 60th birthday. The catermarran was great, needs more entertainment, there was music but nobody was really enjoying it....I loved it!

I did not enjoy anything about this experience The trip included snorkeling when all the corals is dead and no fish. The food was rubbish and the drinks were cheap. The guide was next to useless and when we got back to the coach he disappeared. Saona was full of flies, the beach was full of debris. Nothing about this trip reflects the £100 per head price tag. This was a majorly disappointing aspect of my holiday.

The trip itself is promoted as being pure relaxation however the catamaran sail is far from this. We were a family and 2 boys were tired yet no consideration was given to this fact with overly loud music being played catering towards other guests. The surf and turf dinner promotion is also misleading as you are given some fatty lamb, bbq chicken and some prawns. Expectations would have most people assume at least a cut of steak with prawn as a minimum. Overall not the best value for money tour.

The guide on this trip was the worst I have ever come across. He spent most of the day on his phone and or asleep on the boat he was not at all informative and miserable the whole time. I have done this trip before with other providers and it was lovely. This time I should of kept my money. Stood around for an hour in the morning waiting as well as nothing nice about the trip. Although the lads working on the catamaran they are the only reason for any score as they were good.

Enjoyed the trip from getting on the coach to returning at the end of the day. Roberto was a thoroughly entertaining & an informative guide who looked after us throughout the day. Both legs of the trip to the island were fantastic and a lovely lunch was provided on the paradise island.

Explore Mano Juan, a fishing village on Saona Island, where streets are sandy paths, the ocean sets the pace and life instantly slows down. This is a place where mornings begin with fishing boats returning to shore and afternoons drift by under the Caribbean sun, far from the noise of the Dominican Republic's mainland.Mano Juan is tiny, cosy and full of everyday charm. About 500 people live here, making a living from fishing, selling crafts and running eco‑tourism activities. As you wander past colourful wooden houses, you'll spot the school, the church and little family kiosks selling handmade jewellery and carvings. When people get hungry, beachfront kitchens serve up fresh Dominican dishes — usually whatever the fishermen brought in that morning.
