A day packed with culture, spirituality and flavour. You'll visit three of the most important temples in the Phang Nga province – the Dragon Cave, Bang Rieng Pagoda and Manee Sri Mahathat.

First up is the Dragon Cave Temple. Built within and on top of limestone caves, it's as impressive as it is beautiful. Its monks make healing remedies. Next is Bang Rieng Pagoda Temple, high up in the mountains. It is a mixture of Thai and Chinese influences, and its location offers up amazing views of the area.

The final temple is Manee Sri Mahathat. It boasts a collection of wax statues of Indian, Chinese and Thai deities. But the most popular of all is that of Phor Than Klai – a monk known as ‘Golden Mouth' because of his ability to predict lottery numbers. And to round off the tour, you'll dine at a restaurant in a mangrove jungle, where you can try traditional delicacies.

    Es war eine tolle Tour. Unser Guide Volker hat uns unglaublich viele interessante Details zum Buddhismus und Thailand näher gebracht. Die Tempel waren sehenswert, besonders der Königstempel sehr beeindruckend. Es gab genügend zu Trinken und das Essen direkt an einer Lagune sehr schmackhaft. Volker ist durchweg tiefenentspannt und hilfsbereit!

    Unser Tour Guide Yasmine war super nett und toll??,hat spannende Geschichten erzählt und uns alles erklärt.Die 300 Stufen zum Tempel in der Höhle waren anstrengend ,hat sich aber gelohnt.??Zum Schluss hatte Sie noch eine Überraschung für uns.Wir sind an einen tollen Wasserfall bei Khao Lak gefahren ??     Der wundervolle zweite Tempel war sehr sehenswert. Nach unserem Geschmack wären eine Zwreitempeltour völlig ausreichend, da man doch länger als erwartet im Auto sitzt. Das ist auch anstrengend. Das Mittagessen war sehr lecker und wir wurden stets mit Erfrischungstücher und kalten Getränken versorgt und hatten die Möglichkeit eine Toilette aufzusuchen.

    Es war alle pünktlich. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr beeindruckend. Es wurde vor allem ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis durch den Reiseführer Twan. Er vermittelte uns seine Erlebnisse als Mönch. so konnte er sehr authentisch über den Buddhismus berichten. Diese Tour sollte jeder machen, wenn er direkt Wissen vermittelt bekommen möchte und mit den Tempeln beindruckende Gebäude sehen möchte.

    Abholung war nur im Nachbarhotel 1,4 km.entfernt möglich sind dahin gelaufen,das war nicht optimal,sonst alles sehr gut, interessant und sehr gut erläutert von Tourguid Aris!!!
