What to expect

Prepare for an unforgettable evening at the Lanna Sky Lantern Festival, nestled within the charming surroundings of a local farm in Chiang Mai. Spend the late afternoon indulging in D.I.Y. activities and witnessing traditional performances that highlight northern Thai culture.

You'll have the opportunity to craft your own keepsakes from over 50 available items, with an emphasis on using eco-friendly natural materials in line with BCG and SDGs principles. As dusk falls, relish authentic Thai cuisine prepared through live cooking demonstrations.

The main ceremony commences later in the evening. Here, you can watch the grand parade, listen to Buddhist chanting, learn how to safely light lanterns, and partake in releasing thousands of lanterns into the night sky. This spectacle is accompanied by a dazzling display of lights, sounds, and fireworks. The ceremony concludes late in the evening, after which return transfers to Chiang Mai city are provided.
