Things to do in Miniworld Rotterdam
Miniworld Rotterdam is the largest indoor miniature world in the Netherlands. The amusement park is located 350 meters from Rotterdam Central Station and covers over 650 m2. The park can be easily accessed by car, public transportation, or walking directly from the Central Station.
The theme park is divided into four major areas: England & Scotland in miniature: From cliffs of Dover, the rolling hills of central England, to the mountains of the Scottish Highlands. See viaducts, bridges, and (historic) railway lines that characterize them. Rotterdam in miniature: Is the largest part of the miniature world. You will find more than 50 self-built models of modern and historic buildings like Rotterdam Central, the Erasmus Bridge, or the City hall. Port of Rotterdam: Inspired by the Botlek, Europoort, and Maasvlakte, here you will find the largest covered miniature harbor in Europe, measuring over 100 m². Water and Port: Living below sea level in the miniature world too. You can see the dikes, ring canals, mills, pumping stations, canals, and locks.
Get your tickets, delve into Miniworld, and experience a Day & Night simulation. Every 24 minutes, night falls in the miniature world in a range of beautiful evening and morning colors. Thousands of lights illuminate the nocturnal landscape, containing thousands of model buildings.
