Retken kuvaus

Tällä Serra de Tramuntana -vuoriston retkellä yhdistyvät historia ja kauniit maisemat. Xisco, yksi paikallisoppaistamme, kertoo: "Juna on Sollerin asukkaiden ylpeys. Koska heidän kyläänsä oli niin vaikea päästä vuorten takaa, he rakensivat sata vuotta sitten rautatien omilla rahoillaan päästäkseen Palmaan myymään kuuluisia appelsiinejaan."

Retkipäivä alkaa Valldemossasta, joka on Tramuntana-vuoriston sydämessä sijaitseva kivitalojen rypäs. Hienot vuoristomaisemat ja-kylät. Ystävällisiä ja huomaavaisia ihmisiä. Historiallisia, hienoja rakennuksia. Loistava kivirakentaminen sykähdytti. Noutava bussi oli myöhässä n. 20 min. Oppaan kielet englanti ja saksa. Emme saaneet selvää esim. aikatauluista. Meille tuli väärinymmärrystä Sollerin junan lähtöajasta. Kaikki kuitenkin sujui hyvin.
