Retken kuvaus

Tutustu Louvren kohokohtiin ja selvitä niiden salaisuudet. Ohita pitkä jono ja liity seuraamme tälle lyhyelle (mutta rikkaalle) seikkailulle Ranskan taiteen ja historian sydämeen.

Näe kuuluisia ranskalaisia teoksia, kuten Géricault'n Medusan lautta, joka kuvaa tositarinaa kannibalismiin ajautuneista haaksirikkoutuneista merimiehistä. Leonardo da Vincin Mona Lisa on tietenkin tärkeässä roolissa kierroksen aikana. Et usko, kuinka pieni Louvren kuuluisin teos onkaan, tai kuinka moni kävijä on yrittänyt tuhota sen! Veistosgalleriassa näet puolestaan Michelangelon "Kuolevan orjan" sekä Antonio Canovan uskomattoman romanttisen veistoksen "Amor ja Psykhe".

Tapaamispaikka:

Saavu paikalle 15 minuuttia ennen kierroksen alkua. Oppaallasi on vihreä Walks-kyltti. Tapaaminen Louvren museon edessä sijaitsevan Arc de Triomphe du Carrouselin vieressä olevalla patsaalla, joka on pyramidia vastapäätä Tuileries'n puutarhojen sisäänkäynnin kohdalla (tärkeää: ei Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile, Champs Elysées -kadun varrella). Kun olet kaaren edessä, tapaamispaikka on vasemmalla puolella oleva siivekäs patsas.

This was my 3rd trip to the Louvre and the first time that I booked a tour. The Louvre is overwhelming- so many people, so much to see. Lindsay was a phenomenal tour guide! We breezed past the lines & there's a group tour room with lockers and bathrooms. I loved the experience.
