What to expect

Embark on a day tour to the highlights of Phang Nga, including the renowned James Bond Island and Thailand's extraordinary floating island, Koh Panyi. Two types of boats are available:

  • Option 1: Speedboat
  • Option 2: Catamaran

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Khao Lak, and you'll be warmly welcomed at the pier by the local team. Enjoy a morning refreshment of coffee or tea accompanied by light breakfast snacks. Your first destination is Panak Island, where you'll explore a beautiful cave and lagoon. Then, recreate the iconic scene from the 1974 James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun". As you cruise to your next stop, take in the beauty of the mangrove forest and ancient stone paintings.

Upon arrival at Koh Panyi, savour a delectable buffet lunch before exploring the village, and witness firsthand how locals live on this distinctive floating island. Next, paddle around the magnificent landscape of Hong Island in a canoe. In the afternoon, visit the paradise that is Khai Island for snorkelling, swimming and relaxation on its immaculate white sand beach.

As the day concludes, return to Phuket via boat. A minivan awaits to safely transport you back to your hotel in Khao Lak, marking the end of an unforgettable day.

What to remember

Know in advance:

  • The tour program is exactly the same for both options, except for the type of boat. With option 1, you choose a modern and safe speedboat. With option 2, you can enjoy a bigger and more comfortable speed catamaran boat with 2 storeys. The rooftop of the boat has cosy seats and a fun waterslide
  • Exact pick-up time depends on your location and will be shared with you after booking via WhatsApp or email
  • Please provide your pick-up details at checkout. After booking, you can contact the supplier for further information. The contact details will be displayed on your voucher after booking
  • The transfer time between Khao Lak and the speedboat pier is about 2.5 hours one-way. Bringing some snacks is recommended
  • The Andaman Sea is a rough sea with usually big waves, and it might be a bumpy speedboat ride. Ask the local staff for a pill for seasickness if you have a sensitive stomach
  • Maximum 60 people on the biggest boat
  • Tour schedules might differ due to weather and sea conditions
  • Rain in Southern Thailand is very unpredictable and can happen anytime, especially in the monsoon season from May until December. Even if it rains, the tour is guaranteed to happen if conditions are safe, and no refund will be granted. Rainfall is usually short and can stop anytime. If the local operator determines that conditions are unsafe, they will cancel and offer to reschedule
