Meeting point:
The meeting point is at the bottom of the wide steps across from the entrance to the Vatican Museums. The steps are located between Caffè Vaticano and Hotel Alimandi Vaticano, on the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi. Please exchange your voucher with the staff who will be meeting you holding a “Loving Rome” flag. Kindly arrive at the meeting point 15 - 20 minutes before the activity starts.
What to remember

Not suitable for:

  • This tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, people with walking difficulties or guests with claustrophobia

Not allowed:

  • Food and drinks are not allowed, except water

Know in advance:

  • The ticket will give you access to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel access, and to The St. Peter's Basilica
  • It's recommended to wear comfortable footwear and appropriate clothes that cover at least the shoulders and knees. Note you can not enter the premises wearing shorts, short skirts, and sleeveless shirts
  • Kindly note that baby strollers, luggage and large bags (over 40x35x15 cm), backpacks, umbrellas, tripods, animals and potentially harmful objects are not allowed on the premises and must be left in the cloakroom. The cloakroom is a 20-minute walk from the end of the tour
  • Some parts might not be accessible and are subject to unexpected closures until further notice due to site’s restrictions
  • On religious holidays or Wednesday mornings (Papal Audience), please note that the tour will be adjusted to include only the visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel
  • All guests must undergo through an airport-style security. During high season, the wait may be up to 30 minutes
  • Photography is not allowed inside the Sistine Chapel and in some other parts of the tour. The Vatican staff is authorized to delete any files taken
  • Late arrivals will not be accommodated
